My Joshua

Ah look how sweet. My baby is the best in the world. I love him so much.

Just got a haircut!

When I first met you...

When we first met I honestly had no idea you would be Soo important to me!

I mean you stole my heart right in front of me as I watched.
You grabbed my hand,
You kissed my lips,
You opened my door.
Such little things that have meant everything to me.

I have never met such a soul that I have bonded with to our degree.
You are the missing puzzle piece.
And I feel so wonderful our paths have crossed.

To the keeper of my heart, I am forever yours to do with what you choose.

You have made me complete.

My Sweet Joshua

Love…
…is crazy because I don’t even know when you became so important to me. It’s like watching a snowstorm. You see the flakes falling, but you don’t realize how they’re adding up. Then suddenly, your whole lawn is covered. All these little things have added up, and you’re my snowstorm.

I vow to...

I want you to know that I love you,
And I will for the rest of my days.

I vow to trust you and respect you,
Tell the truth and embrace you,
I vow to honor and protect you,
Encourage and celebrate you,
Every day. All the time. And always.

This is my promise.
To share a lifetime of eternal, immeasurable love.

I give to you ...

All that is mine is now yours.
I give you my hand,
my heart and
my love from this moment on
till the rest of our lives!

I love you Joshua!
I have never had a love so grand!

Saying I love you is just the beginning...

Nothing creates intimacy more than the lucid articulation of feelings from one lover to another. They say action speaks louder than words yet nothing soothes the heart more than the declaration of feeling from the mouth of our beloved. True love is created through the stutter and imperfect attempt to place our feelings into words. The struggle to remain actively open in our expression of our inner terrain is to expose the rhythms of emotion, the shifts, vague dreams, sharpened desires, imperfect thoughts that make love flourish and grow from subtle and invisible to bold and profound. Infact it is only through the courage of sharing our inner journey with a lover that our hearts expand. Silence of withdrawal breeds contraction as the heart beats to a drum of emotional pain. Love is curious to know anothers inner mind and heart. Asking questions of another is perhaps the most perfect expression there is of love. A sharing of the delicate and insignificant thoughts heal the heart and make us feel that we are not alone. Speaking and sharing the nuance of our mind and having those words heard is salve to our souls and the beginning of connection.

Saying I Love You is just the beginning of the story. It is the sensitive robustness of communication that follows that is thrashed out and tested through time that is the true sign of enduring love. True love sees the other and will step up and fight for that love. Fighting to keep that flame bursting with light is the action and reflection of a love that comes from the inside out.
